[Outdoor] From the JR Ebisu Station West Exit Ticket Gates to the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum

• This route from JR Ebisu Station goes outdoors. On rainy days, please refer to the “Indoor Route” to avoid getting wet.
• At JR Ebisu Station, elevators are located only inside the West Exit ticket gates. For this reason, this route starts from the West Exit ticket gates. There is no elevator to the East Exit gate level.
• If you are coming by the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, please head toward the JR Ebisu Station West Exit ticket gates and follow this guide from step 2 onward.
• Facility names along the route may have changed due to renovations of commercial facilities or other reasons.

Route Guide

1. At the West Exit, the widest ticket gate is the one on the far right.
2. After you go through the gates, enter the Atré entrance ahead of you on the left.
3. Take the elevator on the left up to the 3rd floor. The priority elevator is on the entrance side. The elevators operate from 10:00 to 21:00.
4. Exit the elevator.
5. Follow the wall on your right toward the West Building connecting walkway.
6. Go straight along the walkway. You will see signs reading “[left arrow] 本館 (Honkan (Main Building)), [right arrow] 西館 (Nishikan (West Building)),” but keep following the walkway. Farther on, you will see the JR East Exit ticket gates on your right.
7. Continue in the direction of “Yebisu Garden Place.”
8. Follow the walkway through the station building and enter the “Yebisu Sky Walk.”
9. There are moving walkways, but they are narrow. We recommend using the walkway in the middle.
10. After leaving the Sky Walk, cross the road at the traffic light and go straight through Yebisu Garden Place.
11. Proceed toward the building ahead marked “TOP MUSEUM.”
12. Go straight under the roof. Just before the entrance, there is a ramp with a slope of about 5 degrees, so please take care.
13. Continue a short distance, and you will arrive at the entrance of the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum.

15. Take one of the elevators up to the 1st floor.
16. After exiting the elevator, go left.
17. There is a staircase in front of you. Turn right just before the stairs.
18. Go straight and up the ramp.
19. Continue straight, and you will arrive at the entrance of the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum.

The PDF versions of the accessible route guides were created in fiscal 2021, based on accessibility surveys conducted from fiscal 2017 to fiscal 2019 and on user testing carried out in fiscal 2021 with wheelchair users, people with visual impairments, and others. They were updated and published in fiscal 2022.
