【Exhibition overview】
This exhibition was developed based on the work of Takeshi Yoro and Kenji Kohiyama, two professors who have been chasing insects for over 70 years. Professor Yoro’s profound and thoughtful words and Professor Kohiyama’s photographs of insects magnified several hundred times have been transformed into panels of various sizes, three-dimensional exhibits, and video displays. We invite you to explore the wondrous and mysterious world of insects and ask yourself, “What on earth is this?”

All answers can be found in insects. Look at shapes. Everything started from there. Simply look at them as they are. Look carefully at a leaf on the branch of a tree. That single leaf holds all the answers. Insects are the same. The answers are already there. Nature’s answers lie right before your eyes. —Takeshi Yoro
