Unknown Aspects of the City.
Tokyo - an ever changing world city, and the host city for the 2020 Olympic Games. For more than 30 years, the photographer, Masataka Nakano has been taking pictures of this large city with sharp sensitivity and masterly understanding of space. "Tokyo Nobody" features a desolate Tokyo. "Tokyo Windows" features a surreal city seen through the windows of buildings and private homes. "Tokyo Float" features images of a floating city seen above-and-on the surfaces of the waters of the city. These titles with others had caught attention of many people. This exhibition is the complilation exhibition featuring the ever changing expressions of the huge city 'Tokyo', caught by the unique eyes of Nakano. More than 100 works had been selected with the photographer's main works from these three titles so called as "Tokyo Triology" and with his latest works and unveiled works.
