This is the ninth edition of the Polish Film Festival, and we have been debating until the last minute whether or not to hold it. But we have decided to hold the festival in order to allow people to feel the power of Polish films in this situation. There will also be screenings of Krzysztof Kieslowski's “Decalog” and this year's Oscar nominee for International Feature Film “CORPUS CHRISTI”. The first documentary on Poland's first Pope, Jan Paweł II, "John Paul II – I Kept Looking for You…”, as well as three masterpiece shorts by Poland's leading documentary filmmaker, Marcel Łoziński, who turns 80 this year. (“MICROPHONE`S TEST”, “ANITHING CAN HAPPEN”, “POSTE RESTANTE”) An encore screening of "The Author of Solaris", a film about Stanisław Lem. We invite you to come to the Polish Film Festival again this year.
