DISCODER [Installation version]

This is an installation version of the Internet art piece "DISCODER."
The keys on the keyboard placed in front of the monitor have been removed, and mice are connected to them instead. About 80 mice are connected and placed apart on the floor, each with a corresponding key printed on them. A key is entered by clicking a mouse, and a bug is submitted to the Web site on DISCODER. The website's source code and an animation of falling letters are projected on the back wall.
When exonemo did its first exhibition in a real exhibition space, they refused the idea of setting up a monitor and simply showing a piece of software working within it. As a result, they created this custom-made interface. It was first shown at the International Film Festival Rotterdam and subsequently exhibited in Japan and internationally.
