VHSM: Video / Hack / and / Slash / Mixer
Images from three computers are projected onto a single surface, and a rotating propeller is mounted in front of each projector's projection lens to make the images flicker. The three images that are cut into pieces by the propeller are combined on a wall and create a complex image that far exceeds the video's frame rate. The footage uses public domain video materials (e.g., the Prelinger Archive) in conjunction with footage shot and produced by exonemo. It was also developed into a VJ performance to collaborate with musicians, and was performed overseas with NUMB and Keiichiro Shibuya.
