The Terminal for Pilgrimage - Nimes
A participatory piece developed in the streets of Nîmes, France. Custom photo booths were set up in several locations around the city, and viewers could take pictures of their own faces and print them. However, only one part of the face could be printed in one location, and the viewer had to travel to other locations to complete the entire face. It was designed as an experience based on the motif of a pilgrimage to meet oneself separated by time and space. At night, a "face of the city" appears on the wall of the ruins in the center of the town, where the faces of all participants are randomly assembled. It was later developed in Yuda Onsen as part of YCAM's fifth anniversary project.
