SHI KA KU NO MU KO U

An installation piece consisting of two spaces. The first thing the visitors see is a video of an animating drawing projected onto the wall. When a visitor enters the next room, there is a computer and a pen tablet. The moment the pen touches the tablet when the visitor tries to draw on the pen tablet, the lights and screen go out and the room goes completely dark, and sounds are played back in tandem with the pen's movement. When the visitor lifts the pen, the room light turns on, and the drawing made in the dark is displayed on the screen. The aim was to create a drawing without the limits that people unconsciously impose on themselves by cutting off the drawing's visual feedback and let the sound drive the drawer's mood. When the visitor finishes drawing and returns to the first room, they realize that the projection shows how their pen had been vigorously moving in the dark.
