EXONEMONSTER
A relief piece made with a technique called "circuit-bending," which transforms a sounding toy into a new sounding instrument by, for example, short-circuiting a circuit without technical knowledge. By attaching multiple toys to a wooden board with nails, connecting the nails to each other with wires or touching them by hand, the instruments go out of control and begin to make unexpected sounds. exonemo found commonalities with outsider art in the characteristic of "not being concerned with the final output," and made this piece with the idea of assembling it shortsightedly without looking at the whole picture.
EXONEMONSTER was presented in the form of a performance, playing unpredictable sounds in front of an audience and then asking the audience to touch it. It was also performed at the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
